What causes a sore throat a no other symptoms? - sore throat and menstruation
I am 48 years old and I had a sore throat for a month with very few other symptoms. My lymph nodes are slightly swollen and throat is red. I had no fatigue, weight loss, or something important elsewhere. The sore throat is better in the day and especially at night. What could be the cause of chronic neck pain?

Sounds like post-nasal drip, that is, if the mucus from the chest drops on the back of the neck and makes it rough. He often accompanies cold symptoms, but not always. It can be caused by allergies sweet.
